Ala-Too mountains near Jaichy, Kyrgyzstan, on Thursday, October 16, 2014.
The last leg of our three-day horse trekking journey is through a big valley where we first started. Baha leads me to his home in Jaichy, seen in the distance.
Lunch time at Baha’s home, where his father, who’s a hunter, has some trophies on the wall. His mother makes us a lunch of potatoes and a tomato sauce. And Baha attempts to play music. He’s a better horseman than musician. (VIDEO)
After my horse trekking adventure, Azamat from Iron Horse Tours picks me up. We drive the four hours back to the Russian-speaking capital city of Bishkek, as the autumn leaves start to change color.
